Warehouse Trios: A “great deal” worth repeating

Whether I’m on a getaway out of the house with my girlfriends or on a getaway – from the kitchen – with my family, Spaghetti Warehouse is always one of my favorite places to go for a fun and relaxing dinner or a great tasting lunch.

Just the other day, the “club girls” – as we call our little group – decided to go to Spaghetti Warehouse to enjoy some dinner and a catch up with one another. Once we were seated, the server shared with us their specials and she mentioned the “Warehouse Trios”. It was a complete, four-course meal and it came with everything, including your choice of a soup or salad, sourdough bread, an appetizer, your choice of an entrée – and a dessert! Best of all, it was being offered at a great price at just $11.99. We couldn’t believe it.

Based on what she described, it sounded good and each of us ordered one of the Warehouse Trios. We were able to choose from several different appetizers and entrees. For an appetizer, unlike a lot of places, they actually had a lot to choose from, including everything from their Mozzarella Fritta or their Toasted Ravioli to an order of Fried Zucchini or their new Tuscan Garlic Parmesan Wings!

Next up, there was a broad selection of their most popular, made-from-scratch entrees including their ‘Incredible’ 15-Layer Lasagne, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chicken Alfredo, Four-Cheese Manicotti or their new Spicy Shrimp Al Fresco. To top it all off, the dessert tray was filled with a ‘trio’ of choices including their new (and I can tell you from a recent lunch with the kids) delightful Oreo® Dream Bar. Or, you can enjoy one of their other two new desserts…a Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake or an Andes® Chocolate Mint Cannoli.

After looking over everything, each of us picked something a little different so we would have some added variety and be able to share with one another.

Everything at Spaghetti Warehouse is always made fresh daily and that was certainly the case with the Warehouse Trios. There was plenty of fresh sourdough bread to go around the table. Our appetizers and entrees were everything “great” that we’ve come to expect from Spaghetti Warehouse. And, when the check came, it made feel as though we had gotten a lot of value.

The server explained that the Warehouse Trios is a limited time offer. We told her that we would that the “club girls” will definitely be back very soon to order the Trios again.  We’re also going to tell our friends and share with them what a great deal it is. That evening, I looked at the Spaghetti Warehouse website – www.meatballs.com – and I noticed the Trios were featured online as well.

I guess you could say our next “getaway” is not far away with the girls, as well with our families because this is one deal that’s too good to pass up.

Labor Day Weekend: Perfect Time for a “Family Feast”

Often described as the “last weekend of summer”, Labor Day is the time when most of us get together with our family and friends to enjoy one last dip in the pool, maybe a trip out of town, or something as simple as a nice meal…without having to worry about someone spending all their time in the kitchen or firing up the grill to feed everyone.

And, although this year, summer doesn’t actually ‘end’ until Sept. 21st, we’re sticking with our family’s tradition of getting together with my cousin Mike’s family at Spaghetti Warehouse. For nearly 10 years, our families have enjoyed lunch, and sometimes dinner, with one another on the Sunday over the Labor Day weekend. We enjoy some great tasting Italian food that’s always fresh, made-from-scratch and delicious. And, it’s special to us because it’s a place we often visit whenever we have something to celebrate.

This year, in making our plans, we noticed on their website – www.meatballs.com – that Spaghetti Warehouse is featuring a special coupon offer called their “Labor Day Weekend Family Feast for 4”.

For just $30, the ‘feast’ includes two servings each of Spaghetti Warehouse’s ‘Incredible’ 15-Layer Lasagne, Chicken Parmigiana and Fettuccini Alfredo, all served on one large family platter – perfect for passing around the table. And, each of the four guests get their choice of a soup or a fresh garden salad along with, of course, their Spaghetti Warehouse’s fresh sourdough bread. The coupon for this delicious deal can be found on their website (www.meatballs.com) or their Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/spaghettiwarehouse and it is good beginning on Saturday, Aug. 30 through Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1st.

What could be better? You get a choice of three different entrees and a chance to sample a little of everything. And, whether you’re there for lunch or dinner, you get a complete meal and a lot of value. While you’re there, the servers are always very nice and do a great job of taking care of everyone. If you’re with a large party, it’s no problem because Spaghetti Warehouse is known for its unique ability to take care of large parties and make everyone feel special.

Sure, summer’s almost over and everyone, it seems, is back to school. But, thanks to Spaghetti Warehouse, we can sit back, relax, enjoy ourselves and continue with our Labor Day tradition, just as if we were still enjoying our summer.

Making Memories in the Warehouse

One of the things my family and I really enjoy about Spaghetti Warehouse – and keeps us coming back – is that it’s a great place to celebrate almost anything…birthdays, anniversaries, heck, just being together with our family and friends.

You might say going to Spaghetti Warehouse is perfect for any occasion.

Of course, the food at Spaghetti Warehouse is always fresh, made-from-scratch and delicious. When you’re there, you always feel welcome and right at home. And, now, as I just recently discovered, there is another way to share some of your memories from visiting Spaghetti Warehouse, thanks to an online photo album that is featured on their all-new website at: www.meatballs.com.

A friend of ours that we met for lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse told me about the photo album they have on their website and I had to check it out.

When you’re on the website, simply click on the link that says “Photo Album” and, from there, you’ll see all kinds of images of people enjoying themselves at Spaghetti Warehouse, as well as many other photos of people just having fun and sharing the good times with others. Think of the photo album as a big scrapbook that, in a way, makes you feel as though you are part of a community who enjoys visiting Spaghetti Warehouse for a great meal and a memorable experience.

So where else can you enjoy a treat for sharing your photos? When visiting the website the other day, I uploaded a few photos from my Aunt Meg’s birthday party and after I registered on the site, I received a coupon for a free appetizer to enjoy during my next visit to Spaghetti Warehouse.

From time to time, Spaghetti Warehouse also has contests where you can submit your photos for a chance to win free food. What could be better? A chance to look back, enjoy the good times and a free appetizer.

Now, that’s a great reason to celebrate, right?

Warehouse Fresh Selects, Oreo® Dream Bar Makes for a Delicious Deal

Click on the video to learn more about Spaghetti Warehouse’s new Fresh Select Entrees

When my family and I go out for dinner, there are always a couple of things that catch my attention – great tasting food that’s made from scratch served hot and fresh and a meal that’s affordable for our budget.

And, every now and again, we like treating ourselves to a great tasting dessert.  On this night, I could not have imagined just how “dreamy” our dinner would be for us.

* * *

My husband, Rich and I have three kids, so we always do a little homework on where we’re going for dinner. Past experiences are always good, but trying something new is fun, too. More importantly, I want to feel like I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy a complete meal.

The other day, we were looking to get out of the house for awhile and take some time to be together before school starts. One of my “favorites” is Spaghetti Warehouse – it’s always good, they make you feel welcome and, best of all, we get a lot of value for our meal.

Upon visiting their website – www.meatballs.com – I noticed something different.  They had completely changed their website. It’s filled with lots of great information and an easy way to find their locations. They also have an all-new menu and a new $9.99 promotion that includes some of their favorite entrees – along with a few new ones – that Spaghetti Warehouse calls its “Fresh Select Entrees”.

For just $9.99, you get to choose from five different Fresh Select entrees, including their Fresh Select Lasagne or Fresh Select Chicken Tettrazini. And, three of the dishes are all new – including their Fresh Select Spicy Shrimp Pasta Al Fresco, Fresh Select Meatlovers Spaghetti and a Fresh Select Sun-Dried Tomato Broccoli Ziti. Every Fresh Select entrée includes your choice of a fresh garden salad or soup and their Sourdough bread.

Seeing what a great deal they were offering, I told Rich to get the kids ready…we were heading for Spaghetti Warehouse.

Once we arrived at Spaghetti Warehouse, we didn’t have long to wait and our server shared with us the new “Made Fresh Daily” menu and all the details about the Warehouse Fresh Select Entrees. As we got ready to order, she also shared with us some information about a few “Fresh Select” appetizers and desserts that we could choose from – for just $2 each – to add a little more variety to our dinner.

Upon hearing about the Fresh Select appetizers and desserts that they were featuring – one choice jumped right out to me – their new Oreo® Dream Bar. I couldn’t believe it; growing up, I always loved arriving home after school and enjoying a few Oreo cookies as a snack. Even now, a bag of Oreos always seems to land in our cart at the grocery store.

It was a special night out, so we decided that it would be fun to treat ourselves. Of course, my choice for dessert was easy, as I went for the Oreo Dream Bar. They also had a few other tasty treats – including a new Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse or a new Raspberry Brulee Cheesecake. Or, if you’re like my husband and you enjoy an appetizer, you have the choice of a Spinach Artichoke Dip, Italian Onion Rings or Toasted Ravioli.

Everyone, it seemed, ordered something different, whether it was the different Fresh Select entrées or one of the $2 appetizers or desserts, it was another memorable time for us at Spaghetti Warehouse.

Everything was what I expected; food that was hot and fresh and tasted as though it had been made at home with the freshest ingredients. And, of course, like always, when the check came, Rich and I felt as though we got a great deal that’s within our budget.

With school just around the corner, Spaghetti Warehouse certainly deserves an “A-plus” for making our time together fun and delicious. And, for me, the Oreo Dream Bar was the perfect topping to it all.

What a Deal: Dads Eat Free at Spaghetti Warehouse

For me and my brother, Blake, Dad is always there for us.

Both of us play baseball and, it seems, he’s always there waiting for us – just outside the dugout – giving us his support no matter how we played during the game. The same thing is true with things like our homework; he’s always there to help even if he doesn’t fully understand the assignment or he’s pretty worn out from working all day. We think he’s incredible.

This Father’s Day, we’re going to surprise him and take him and our whole family to Spaghetti Warehouse.

Now, for our family, going out to lunch or dinner is a pretty quick deal because we’re usually on the way to do something and having time to enjoy ourselves is not part of the “schedule”.

This year, Dads Eat Free at Spaghetti Warehouse and we’re going to take the time to really make it all about whatever he wants…and when we go there…he usually wants the ‘Incredible’ 15-Layer Lasagne. While we’re there, Spaghetti Warehouse is having a photo contest and just for submitting a photo of our Incredible Dad, we get a free appetizer for registering and we get a chance to win a whole year of free Lasagne! You can check out more about the photo contest at: www.meatballs.com.

Best of all, you don’t need a coupon. Pretty good plan, right? Dad gets a free meal and an opportunity to really relax knowing that at least for one day…it’s all about him.

I can’t wait. We’ve been telling Dad that we’ve got something special planned for him and not to book a tee time or take a nap until he’s had a chance to spend some time with us.

He just smiles. And, that’s what makes him such a great Dad, he always seems to be wherever he’s needed and he couldn’t be happier than to make it all about you. Happy Dads Day!

Graduation party at the “Warehouse”

When I opened up the mail the other day, I noticed there was an invitation from my good friend, Linda, for her son Billy’s graduation party.

Whatever the occasion, it seems, our group of five “girls” have always stayed in touch with one another. And, we’ve always made it a point to get together and celebrate any time one of our kids has had something special going on, be it a graduation, wedding or baby shower.

But, what caught my attention was the location of the party…it said Spaghetti Warehouse. It surprised me only for the fact that, most years, my friends and I have always had everyone over to the house to celebrate.

A few days after sending back the reply – confirming we would be there – I called Linda to find out more of the details. She said that graduation is such a busy time…so many details to run down, and relatives coming in from out-of-town and out-of-state that it was time to do something a little different.

As she looked around for a place to go, she remembered seeing a message about graduation parties on the Spaghetti Warehouse website and all of the details at:  www.meatballs.com/special/banquets.html

Linda said booking their party was easy. After looking at the banquet menus online, she was able to confirm all of the details for the party by filling out one simple form. She said they had packages designed to fit every taste and their budget, so whether her Uncle Tony wanted the ‘Incredible’ 15-Layer Lasagne or her mother, Alma, wanted a gluten-free Chicken Alfredo, they could get what they want.

Linda said she also ordered a couple of appetizers for everyone to share and each dinner includes a crisp, fresh garden salad and freshly baked sourdough bread along with a soft drink or glass of iced tea. Best of all, she said they’ll be able to celebrate Billy’s graduation with their family and close friends, enjoy some delicious food that’s hot and made fresh and relax all at the same time.

I guess you could say it’s a pretty smart way to go.

New “Made Fresh Daily” Menu: So Much to See, Eat

When it comes to going out to eat, one of our family’s “go to” places is always been Spaghetti Warehouse.

With three growing kids – Matti (14), Michael (…almost 12) and Michelle (9 ½) and my husband, Rick, we’ve always enjoyed gathering around the table together at Spaghetti Warehouse. They always treat us like family and they’ve gotten to know us from all of the times we’ve been there to celebrate a birthday or, like on this night, enjoy a great tasting dinner.

Add to that, they’ve always had a nice selection and what we enjoy most is how fresh the food always tastes to us. And no meal at Spaghetti Warehouse would be complete without the fun we always seem to have “sampling” each other’s food.

Just recently, we decided to head to Spaghetti Warehouse after an especially busy week with school and work. Upon being seated, our server shared with us their new “Made Fresh Daily” menu. She said Spaghetti Warehouse had ‘named’ their menu to remind everyone about the fact that everything they serve is made fresh daily from scratch. If you want to check out the new menu, you can visit their website at: www.meatballs.com.

When we got to thinking about it, there are just not a lot of places out there that take the time to make something for you that’s hot and fresh right out of the kitchen to your table to enjoy.

Even the menu is different. It’s like reading a newspaper with all kinds of stories and interesting tidbits about everything having to do with Spaghetti Warehouse. For instance, did you know that they are looking to serve 1 million Lasagne dinners this year? And, that’s just the start…they have introduced four new gluten-free dinners as part of their regular menu along with a few other dishes.  The selection has never been better and looking at this menu makes it fun to see what all they offer.

With the gluten-free dinners, there is a great variety to choose from, featuring everything from salmon or steak to a nice chicken breast. For me, it was the Spaghetti Pomodoro that caught my attention. A gluten-free spaghetti, it’s tossed with a fresh veggie Pomodoro sauce, mushrooms, spinach and more.

My husband also ordered a new entrée…the Trolley Stop Sirloin and Spaghetti. He’s always enjoyed a good steak, but adding in the spaghetti provided something out of the ordinary for him. Michael’s always been partial to spaghetti, too, and he ordered the Baked Pepperoni Spaghetti. He said he liked the spicy taste and the fresh tomato sauce. The girls stayed with a couple of their favorites, as Matti enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Alfredo while Michelle went with the Cheese Ravioli.

All in all, it was another reason to celebrate being together. Best of all, when the check came, new menu and everything, Spaghetti Warehouse is still one of the best values you’ll find for feeding a family some delicious food at a price that’s reasonable. Try it out…who knows, maybe Spaghetti Warehouse will be your family’s “go to” place?

“Meatball Madness” Takeout Special: It’s a Game changer (for your appetite)

Late March, early April…there always seems to be some kind of “madness” that grabs our attention.

You know what I’m talking about. We gather around the TV, the water cooler at work or the friendly confines of our living room and we debate endlessly what we believe will be the outcome of a certain basketball tournament.

This year, you might even say we had a billion reasons for celebrating the madness as never before. It’s the perfect time to invite a couple dozen of your closest friends and family members over to the house and enjoy some takeout.

This year, our family hosted a big get-together to watch the endless stream of back-to-back-to-back basketball games. To make it through all the action, we decided to call on our favorite restaurant, Spaghetti Warehouse, to experience some “Meatball Madness” and take advantage of their takeout special – 20 hand-rolled, succulent meatballs for just $24.

OK, I know what you’re saying. Meatballs? But, believe me; the way Spaghetti Warehouse makes their delicious meatballs, these things could represent their own food group! We were looking over their new menu and we discovered that Spaghetti Warehouse hand rolls 10,000 meatballs fresh from scratch every day. And, talk about delicious. It’s the perfect appetizer for whatever type of party or celebration you’re planning.

A ‘Spaghetti Warehouse’ meatball is made with the freshest beef and pork and is oven–baked with onions, garlic, Romano cheese, olive oil, tomatoes and beef stock and it is blended together with the right mix of seasonings. Of course, no Spaghetti Warehouse hand-rolled meatball would be complete without a side of “made fresh daily” tomato sauce that comes with your order. Also, be sure to ask for traditional or spicy; you will not be disappointed.

From now through April 7th, you can call in a meatball order “to go” and they’ll have it ready in time for tip-off. Visit their website – www.meatballs.com – for the Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurant location near you. And, then sit back and enjoy the “Meatball Madness”. I promise you it will be a game changer!

“Winter Games Weekend Family Feast for 4” Offers Lots of Delicious Food, Great Value

If your family is anything like ours, you are SO over winter. Am I right?

After all, regardless of where you call home, I bet you’ve experienced enough ‘winter’ to last until next season. Or, if snow shoveling or sliding down your driveway (or the highway) ever becomes a competitive sport, you might make it to a place like Sochi!

Instead, my husband, Jack and I along with our two boys, Ryan and Cameron, are already planning ahead this weekend and trading in our cabin fever for a trip to Spaghetti Warehouse for their Winter Games Weekend Family Feast for 4 for just $30.

According to their website – www.meatballs.com – the Winter Games Weekend Family Feast for 4 is being offered from Friday, Feb. 21st through Sunday, Feb. 23rd and it’s an unbelievably great deal. The ‘family feast’ includes two servings each of their ‘Incredible’ 15-Layer Lasagne, Chicken Parmigiana and Fettuccine Alfredo and it is served – family style – on their very large family-size platters. It also includes the choice of soup or salad for four and plenty of their fresh sourdough bread for everyone to enjoy. And, all of this delicious food is just $30, or about the cost of paying your neighbor kid to clear off your driveway and sidewalks a couple of times while you take advantage of this great deal!

What’s more, whether your family is a tight-knit foursome, or a party of 8, Spaghetti Warehouse is a great place to go with large parties because there is always lots of room to celebrate every occasion.

Another reason Spaghetti Warehouse is so appealing is that you know you’re getting plenty of food as part of your meal. And, with the Family Feast you’ll be able to sample three different entrees and more. That’s sure to melt away your winter blues. See you there!

Valentine’s Day Dinner for Two – A Sweetheart of a Deal

The best part of enjoying a nice dinner with someone who’s close to us is the opportunity it provides for us to relax and take it easy…if only for a little while.

OK, sure, it sounds like a cliché, but think about it…when you have the chance to really get away – for even an hour or two – it’s amazing how much better we can feel about whatever it is we’re doing with our everyday lives.

That’s why I like Valentine’s Day.  Yes, Valentine’s Day. Because while the rest of the world is scrambling to find the perfect card or fretting over floral arrangements, I’ve made that day a celebration  — and something of a tradition – by enjoying a nice dinner out. Sometimes, it’s with a close friend; other times it’s been with one of my kids or my husband, Greg.

This year, I’m going to Spaghetti Warehouse. The other day, I received an e-mail about a “Valentine’s Day Dinner for Two”  special that includes two entrees, an appetizer and a dessert to share, along with your choice of a garden salad or a cup of soup and their fresh sourdough bread – a complete dinner for two for $34.99.

It’s a great deal, made even better by the experience and the atmosphere that we always enjoy while we’re there. The service is very good and the wait staff makes us feel right at home. And, no matter how busy it is, I’m able to have a nice dinner conversation…fun and relaxing all at the same time.

While you’re there, you can even enter a photo contest they’re hosting on their website (from now through Feb. 16th) – www.meatballs.com. You can take a selfie of the two of you at Spaghetti Warehouse and once you register for the contest and upload a photo, you’ll receive a coupon for a free appetizer. I hear they’re giving away a $200 gift card!

The ‘dinner for two’ is being offered all weekend long from Valentine’s Day on Friday Feb. 14th through Monday, Feb. 17th.  Who knows? I may have to double up on my celebration with another one of my friends or family. Of course, they’ll love it…it’s Valentine’s Day!
